The band's commercial peak and one of their many artistic peaks, Nothingface marked a move away from Quebec metal band Voïvod's thrash beginnings to a more progressive rock sound epitomized by their fantastic cover of Pink Floyd's "Astronomy Domine." But it remains quintessential Voïvod, complete with sci-fi themes and tricky tempo changes. The band's rabid fanbase has been clamoring, and we mean clamoring, for a vinyl reissue of this 1989 classic, and we're obliging with a pink with blue swirl edition limited to 6000 copies worldwide.
