The intially underrated The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967) is the debut studio album by the Velvet Underground and features the line-up of Lou Reed, John Cale, Sterling Morrison, Moe Tucker, with German singer Nico singing lead on three tracks. The album is credited with spawning many underground rock subgenres including punk and indie rock. This repressing boasts Warhol's iconic cover with a peelable banana sticker.
