For Tenacious D's first album, duo Kyle Gass and Jack Black enlisted the help of drummer Dave Grohl, keyboardist Page McConnell of Phish, guitarist Warren Fitzgerald, bass player Steven Shane McDonald, and producers The Dust Brothers. Their debut album features studio versions of songs from the Tenacious D HBO TV series.
