Binaural, Pearl Jam's most experimental and atmospheric album, was recorded during a tumultuous time for the band - just as guitarist Mike McCready was starting rehab and Eddie Vedder was suffering from writer's block. It was also the first Pearl Jam album to feature former Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron.
