Nina Cried Power is the first music from Irish singer Hozier since his debut album came out in 2014. He describes the title track of his new EP as a tribute to protest songs, which is fitting as the legendary Mavis Staples is featured on the song with assistance from Booker T Jones to round out the guests on the EP.
