Wall of People is the first full length release by Providence, Rhode Island band Monty Are I. It is also the first effort the band has released since changing their name from Monty.

Monty Are I (formerly known as Monty's Fan Club and Monty) is an American alternative rock band from Cranston, Rhode Island. Monty recently won Takeover Records' Sign My Band contest on MySpace , but ended up signing to Stolen Transmission, and were upstreamed to Island Records. Monty Are I debuted their music video for "Between The Sheets" on August 14, 2007.
They have announced on their Myspace page that their first album exclusively under Island/defJam is titled Break Through The Silence and is slated for release on September 22, 2009. "One in a Million" was the first single, released on August 25, 2009.
Monty Are I used to be called Monty's Fan Club and is named after the band instructor Arthur Montanaro. The "Are I" portion of the name is a pun on "RI", Rhode Island's postal abbreviation.
