About Artie Lange:
As raw and offensive as ever, comedian, radio personality, actor and author Artie Lange, returns to his roots in Jack and Coke, his first-ever comedy CD, to be released on Shout! Factory. The culmination of nearly four years of touring, Jack and Coke features 80 minutes of brutally honest and insanely hilarious material. The album was recorded at The Gotham, one of Lange's favorite clubs, where his irreverent and uncensored humor gets huge laughs from an New York City crowd. An accompanying DVD will be released by Image Entertainment.
Lange was introduced to The Howard Stern Show in 1998 when he accompanied his friend Norm MacDonald into the studio. He made such an impression during his first appearance on the program that he was asked to become a full-time member of the cast after Jackie Martling left the show in 2001.
Prior to the Stern Show, Lange was a member of the original cast of the sketch comedy series MADtv. After MADtv, Lange continued his television work on Norm MacDonald's sitcom, Norm. In addition to television, Artie's filmography includes Dirty Work, Lost and Found, The Bachelor, Old School, Elf, and Beer League.
In 2008, Lange co-wrote an autobiographical book with Anthony Bozza titled Too Fat to Fish, which appeared at number one on the New York Times best seller list under hardcover non-fiction. A New Jersey native, Lange currently resides there.
