On Saturday April 18th, 2009, Hundreds of independently-owned music stores across the country will celebrate "Record Store Day." All participating stores will simultaneously link and act as one with the purpose of celebrating the culture and unique place that they occupy both in their local communities and nationally. Metallica officially kicked off Record Store Day at Rasputin Music in San Francisco on April 19th, 2008 and Record Store Day will now be celebrated the second Saturday every April!
You will need a wristband to attend this event. We will start issuing wristbands at 10am on 4/18 at the Fanueil Hall store only.
